This notice represents the North Carolina Wireless Acceptable Use Policy. This notice supercedes any other written or oral policy. North Carolina Wireless, LLC reserves the right to modify this policy, amplify the policy as well as discontinue or change the services offered.

North Carolina Wireless, LLC may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission of any material in violation of any U.S. or state regulation is prohibited. You agree that North Carolina Wireless, LLC will not be held responsible for any claims resulting from illegal use of the service which damages you or another party.

North Carolina Wireless, LLC specifically denies any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information obtained through its network. North Carolina Wireless, LLC exercises no control whatsoever over the content of the information residing on or passing through it. North Carolina Wireless, LLC makes no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, for the service it is providing. North Carolina Wireless, LLC is not responsible for loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, incorrect deliveries, or service interruptions caused by its own negligence or your errors or omissions. Use of other organization’s networks or computing resources must comply with the rules appropriate for that network.

North Carolina Wireless, LLC or other relevant authorities may determine inappropriate usage of this account and the account may be revoked at North Carolina Wireless’ discretion. You agree to the following billing policy:

TopBilling Policy

All requests for cancellation of service must be placed in writing a minimum of 30-days before your deactivation date.  The account holder should identify his or her name and address in the body of the correspondance requesting cancellation of service. This may be done in the three following ways:

  1. Sent via e-mail to Billing
  2. Sent via fax to 1-866-559-5682
  3. Sent via US mail to North Carolina Wireless, 1985 Tate Blvd SE #43, Hickory, NC 28602

North Carolina Wireless, LLC subscribers who wish to make any changes to their current account in the form of upgrades, address changes, billing method changes and all other general billing changes may do so at any time. There are no additional administrative charges for account modifications. All account modification requests, however, must be in writing and sent to us of via one of the three aforementioned ways.

North Carolina Wireless, LLC has a no refund policy in effect unless the customer is unable to attain a usable quality of service as specified within their service contract. All requests for cancellation will be honored at the end of your current billing cycle assuming your contract term has been fulfilled. The billing cycle begins the day of the month you signed up with us ends the same day of next cycle (monthly or quarterly). You will retain full access to your account until your current billing cycle ends. If you pay for more than one billing cycle at a time, you will be refunded for all unused full billing cycles. North Carolina Wireless, LLC reserves the right to deactivate all delinquent accounts without prior notice. All accounts that wish to reactivate may be subject to a reactivation fee.

Returned checks and declined credit cards are subject to penalty charges. North Carolina Wireless, LLC reserves the right to cancel any account if payment is not received by the due date. You may reactivate your account without a setup fee if your Internet CPE Equipment has not been uninstalled.

TopCredit Card Customers

North Carolina Wireless, LLC will be authorized to draft your account until you notify North Carolina Wireless, LLC in writing that you no longer desire this service. You agree to give North Carolina Wireless, LLC reasonable time to act upon your notification. You also agree that if corrections in the charge amount are necessary, it may involve an adjustment (credit or debit) to your account.

TopUsage Policy

North Carolina Wireless, LLC is dedicated to making your connection to the Internet easy and enjoyable. In order to make everyone’s Internet experience a pleasant one, however, North Carolina Wireless, LLC must establish a few policies regarding our Residential and Business Internet account types.

Any activities deemed inappropriate by North Carolina Wireless, LLC are also grounds for suspension or termination of service with or without our notice. These activities include:

Operating servers over a non-wholesale/carrier account. Reselling your connection with out the express written consent of North Carolina Wireless, LLC is prohibited. Over utilization of bandwidth is prohibited. Transmitting obscene, harassing or threatening materials is unacceptable.

North Carolina Wireless, LLC reserves the right to change these policies at any time without notice.


The subscriber is responsible for all consequences and actions incurred through use of their Internet connection. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and defend North Carolina Wireless, LLC for any claims and charges resulting therefrom.

North Carolina Wireless, LLC reserves the right to terminate any account for any reason it deems necessary. North Carolina Wireless, LLC reserves the right to monitor subscriber actions to determine if any infractions as listed in this agreement have been violated.

These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina, United States of America.
